Milestones owners, Grant and Maizi Chilton, are passionate about providing a safe and educational daycare environment for young children. With her degree in Early Childhood Development and his degree in Finance, they knew they had the tools to build a wonderful school.
The Chiltons first opened their Greensboro, NC child care in 1996 as a franchise of Kids ‘R’ Kids, sending all four of their boys through the school. They know what’s important to parents of young children—reaching their milestones and getting prepared for their next steps.
With over 25 years’ experience, this husband-and-wife team knows child care is personal. They treat every member of their staff like family, creating a positive, caring environment for all.
They remain active in the day-to-day operations of the school. In fact, when you schedule a tour, your guide will likely be Grant himself. They look forward to meeting you and showing you what Milestones is all about.

Milestones is proud to hold a 5-Star License from the North Carolina DHHS. This rating is based on our high program standards, and our rigorous requirements for staff education. In addition to educational standards, our daycare facility is regularly inspected by the Greensboro Health Department to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff.
